Q.Is there such a thing as a power suit, and what does it consist of?
A. While fashions change with great frequency, corporate "power attire" has remained constant over the years. A blue pinstripe suit is considered the epitome of the power look. Solid blue, grey pinstripe, and finally, solid grey, round out the final four of fashion fire-power for men and women. Men should complement their look with a 100% cotton, long sleeve shirt and a high quality silk tie. Women should avoid the "woman in a man's suit " look and opt for a traditionaly tailored outfit. A white or cream colored silk blouse makes the perfect impression on a prospective employer.
