Career Management International (CMI) recently participated in the 49th Annual Conference & Exposition for The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) held in San Diego, California. This was the world's largest gathering of human resource professionals with over 6,000 attendees. The multitude of visitors to CMI's presentation were able to participate in the company's unique Kingdomality™ assessment process. Individuals identified their personal preferences, learned which of a dozen characters they may have been in medieval times and then were able to relate this information to today's corporate world.
CMI participates in at least a dozen conferences annually at locations throughout the U.S. which attract a diverse audience of companies. Researchers at CMI continue to analyze the "medieval characteristics" of people taking the Personal Preference Profile at these conferences and trade shows. Not surprisingly, one third of the attendees at the SHRM conference were "Dreamer Minstrels" which make up a behavioral style group known in Kingdomality™ as Helpers. Helpers comprise approximately 50% of the population, are genuiely concerned with human dynamics and want to be the harmonizers in every group.
CMI assessments also indicate that 30% of individuals taking the Kingdomality™ Personal Preference Profile are Explorers. Explorers are visionary leaders, fascinated by the future who seek out new experiences and savor jobs with little structure in the Corporate Kingdom. Peter Linden, Marketing Director for CMI, says "Kingdomality™ is non threatening and an easy way for people to understand their preferred style. CMI has used Kingdomality™ in many successful customized training seminars and programs that have improved the productivity and efficiency of companies in a cross section of industries." Career Management InternationalÆ (CMI) is celebrating its 20th year of business.
